Health and Safety Announcement
Several homeowners have reported that colonies of bats have been found roosting in their
homes. Please note that it is against the law to kill a bat. If you have a bat infestation problem,
please contact a qualified company which specializes in bat removal. Also, please remind
your children not to touch or pick up any bats found lying injured or dead on the ground.
Neighbors, our emphasis is on safety this Fall. Please read this information very carefully and
follow it. Recently, a neighbor experienced a theft in their garage/workshop in broad daylight
with many tools and valuables stolen. These simply safety reminder may help
- Please be aware of strangers in Millridge
- Notify the constable of any suspicious behavior.
- Be sure all windows, doors, and garage doors are locked at all times.
- Please put bikes and other toys away in the evenings.
- All sheds or backyard storage facilities should be locked to deter theft.
- Remember to lock all vehicles in the evening.
- Keeping an outside light on in the evening or through the night to deter car thieves.
- Inform a neighbor if you will be out of town, help each other out with keeping an eye on
your homes.
